8. Community Engagement

9. Specialized Duties Based on Gender

  • Male MPHS:
    • Focus on sanitation, vector control activities, and disease prevention measures.
    • Participate in activities related to male sterilization (vasectomy) and male-specific health education.
  • Female MPHS:
    • Focus on maternal and child health services, including antenatal and postnatal care.
    • Support activities like immunization, family planning counseling, and institutional deliveries.

10. Miscellaneous Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Health Officer, Medical Officer in charge, or higher authorities.
  • Actively participate in emergency response activities during outbreaks or disasters.
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of health programs by addressing operational challenges.
